How we work
Grounded Ecotherapy is part of Providence Row Housing Association who provide housing and support services for those who have lived experience of drug or alcohol addiction or homelessness. We provide therapy through horticulture to those who are in the process of recovery from such issues. We receive referrals from health professionals, local authorities and organisations and also from people who have self-referred.
Through our work we aim to give those who need it, support, new skills and to improve their physical and mental well-being and reduce the isolation that people so often experience when living with substance misuse and mental health issues or homelessness.
In many cases, Grounded Ecotherapy volunteers have gone on to paid employment.
